Paul Newrick retires from Altavair after distinguished 47 year aviation career
Altavair announces a heartfelt farewell to our friend and colleague Paul Newrick, who is retiring 22 years after he co-founded the company back in 2003.
Paul, alongside CEO Steve Rimmer, established Guggenheim Aviation Partners which then became Altavair in 2016. He has been an integral part of the leadership team through a period of immense change, challenge and opportunity that the aviation industry has experienced in that time.
Throughout his time with Altavair, Paul has been a constant source of knowledge, insights, innovation and positivity. Paul’s contributions have helped shape the business and he has made a lasting impact on colleagues and clients alike.
“Having worked for Altavair and its predecessor companies for decades, and within such a special company culture, this has not been an easy decision to step away and retire.” says Paul. “Steve has been my mentor since we first worked together over 40 years ago, and I owe him a great debt of gratitude for the career I have enjoyed. I know he will continue to carefully guide and champion the business as Altavair moves confidently into its next chapter.”
“I would like to thank each and every one of my colleagues and business partners for the support, professionalism, friendship and camaraderie I have experienced over the years. It has been a genuine privilege to work alongside so many talented and committed people, and I will look back on my time at Altavair with great pride and fond memories.”
Altavair will miss him dearly, but is excited for everything ahead of him as he starts this next chapter in his life. On behalf of the Altavair team, clients and industry friends, we extend our thanks and best wishes for a fulfilling and well-deserved retirement.
