Investment Vehicles Managed by New York-Based Marathon Asset Management Announces Purchase of Boeing 737-800 on Lease to Comair of South Africa with servicing provided by Altavair
New York, New York, February 16, 2017 — Investment vehicles managed by New York-based investment adviser Marathon Asset Management, L.P. completed the purchase of one B737-800 from Global Knafim Leasing. The 1999 vintage aircraft is on lease to Comair through 2021 and marks the second Marathon B737-800 leased to the South African airline. Marathon has engaged Altavair L.P. to act as the servicer.
