Mr Hazeldine joined Altavair in 2024 and is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring the company’s strategic objectives are met. With extensive experience in asset finance including over 20 years in aircraft leasing, Mr Hazeldine plays a key role in optimising Altavair’s deal execution, asset management, business processes, and operational efficiency.
Prior to joining Altavair, he was COO at CDB Aviation, where he led the transformation of the operations teams to be best in class to facilitate the rapid scaling of the business. Before that he held various senior roles at SMBC Aviation Capital including Head of Credit Risk, Head of Innovation, Head of Transaction Management and SVP Transaction Negotiation. Mr Hazeldine holds a Masters of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Leeds.
