Mr. Cragg joined Altavair in 2025 as Head of Technical with responsibility for the team managing and monitoring all technical aspects of aircraft leasing agreements. Mr. Cragg has more than 35 years of aviation experience across aircraft maintenance, airline operations and fleet management, and aircraft leasing.

Having started his career as an EASA licensed aircraft engineer at Shannon Aerospace holding multiple licenses covering several aircraft types, he then moved to Ryanair spending over a decade in senior roles across engineering operations and planning where he helped to build and manage their first maintenance control function. Since his move into aircraft leasing in 2008, he has held senior roles in several large global lessors including BOC Aviation and DAE with responsibility for technical operations including transaction negotiations, asset management, powerplant, transitions, procurement and technical systems. Most recently Mr. Cragg held the role of Head of Technical at CDB Aviation.
