DIRECTOR AIRCRAFT CONFIGURATION AND PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS
Mr. Dankberg has over 37 years of experience in the commercial aviation industry. He joined Altavair in 2006 as a Marketing Director and was promoted to his current role in 2023, now having responsibility for evaluating performance, operating cost, and comparative economics of competing aircraft types in support of marketing campaigns along with remarketing responsibility and strategic client relationships. Before Altavair, Mr. Dankberg spent 19 years with The Boeing Company, during which time he held various Sales, Field Service, and Engineering assignments including 8 years as Sales Director for the America’s region and Leasing and Asset Management. While at Boeing, he was responsible for over $3.5 billion in new and used aircraft sales and gained extensive leasing, aircraft acquisition, and asset management experience. Since 1997, Mr. Dankberg has been an active member of ISTAT and has served as a Trustee of the ISTAT Foundation since 2018 and has been involved in multiple ISTAT Foundation programs including Internship, Scholarship, and Education. Mr. Dankberg has a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Aeronautical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) – San Luis Obispo and a Master of Business Administration degree from Seattle University.
